About

I’m a 25-plus year veteran of association and STM (Science, Technology, and Medicine) publishing.  I began my career as an editorial assistant with a magazine that reviewed science books and films for kindergarten through high school students.  I went on to edit a series of history books for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and medical books for health-care professionals and consumers. I then served as a director of publications for a few associations.

Over the course of my career, I have published and edited:

  • Medical, consumer, math, legal, and poetry books

  • Annual reports

  • Conference proceedings

  • Journals

  • Ph.D. dissertations

  • Newsletters

A number of my publications have won awards for design excellence and have been praised for the quality of and the important medical content.

I have an MA in American Literature from the American University and am a long-time resident of Washington, DC.
