About

I began my career as an editorial assistant with a magazine that reviewed science books and films for kindergarten through high school students.  I went on to work as an editor and a publications director for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), several medical associations, a veterans and disability rights association, and a math association.

A number of my publications have won awards for design excellence and have been praised for quality and important medical content.

After many years as a senior-level director and an editor,  I recently made the transition to a full-time publishing management consultant and editor.

I have an MA in American Literature from the American University and am a long-time resident of Washington, DC.
